Whether you just want your dog to be a great companion or hope to start him on the road to competitive dog sports, you’ll need the Basics & more. Encourage your friends and neighbors to train their dogs.  It makes for a nice canine community as well as enriching the lives of both human & canine.
BASIC OBEDIENCE (includes Sit, Down, Stand, Stay, Come, Walk on lead, Leave it & Take it Nicely) Whether you are just getting started or need to solidify these basic skills, a group class can help teach your dog to be responsive to your cues in any setting. Saturdays, 2:30-3:30 pm Saturdays starting January 13th
BEYOND BASIC (includes practicing above skills adding duration, distractions & distance, plus Heeling, Fronts, Finishes and introduction to off-leash work) Saturdays 4:00 – 5:00 pm Saturdays starting January 13th

HEAD START PUPPY CLASS: Tuesdays 7:15-8:15 pm. Starting January 9th.
Six-week course, $125  Help your pup develop into a calm, capable adult through training in self-control, drive-building, basic obedience and exposure to new sounds, surfaces, objects, people and dogs.  First class is an orientation for the humans (no dogs).  Next 5 classes are training sessions with the pups.  Household members are welcome as well. This is not your typical puppy class! It’s packed with content and activity to get your puppy started right.  Class includes self-control exercises, calm handling, basic Obedience (Sit, Down, Stand, Stay, Come, Leave It, Walking On Lead and developing Attention) as well as an introduction to a few agility obstacles and other objects.  The Orientation prepares you for the training that will begin at home & continue in class starting week 2 & is your opportunity to ask questions about problem issues like jumping, barking, chewing & housebreaking.
