TRICKS WORKSHOP: Thursday, February 8th, 6:45-7:45 pm. If there is sufficient enrollment, a second session will be offered from 5:30-6:30 pm**.
Cost is $25 for the one-time workshop
In this Workshop you will teach your dog a few simple tricks, such as Touch, Wave, Walk Back, Sit Up, Weave Thru your Legs, Hide your face, Crawl, Roll Over, Play Dead, Spin, Shake your head, Paws Up. Those dogs that have already learned these tricks can work on advancing their proficiency or they could work on more advanced tricks like Ring a bell, Jump thru your arms or a Hoop, Peek a Boo, Say Your Prayers & more. Teaching Tricks is a great way to engage, challenge and bond with your dog and it’s FUN since there’s no pressure. Tricks are a great way to keep your dog focused and engaged while waiting for your run in Agility, to reduce anxiety at the vet’s office or to put a smile on someone’s face at Therapy visits or just to impress your friends & family.
You can also earn AKC titles & certificates if your dog passes the AKC Trick tests offered periodically. Instructor: Dale Avick
**We’d like to separate the two sessions by experience level — more experienced dogs will hopefully be able to attend the earlier session.
